KUALA LUMPUR: The Government Transformation Programme (GTP) has been a marked success as all the National Key Results Areas (NKRAs) have surpassed expectations.
Moreover, in six of seven NKRAs – Reducing crime, Improving student outcomes, Raising living standards of low income households, Rural basic infrastructure, Urban public transportation and Cost of living – the results surpassed their targets with delivery exceeding 100%.
The results of the GTP annual report 2012, presented by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Abdul Razak at Angkasapuri here tonight, showed that the initiatives in each of the seven NKRAs are taking flight in the process to transform the country.
Although a few of the initiatives within these NKRAs fell short of their targets, many more performed well with results exceeding 100%. -TheSun
